Pete

Pete is the newest member of the Lebo clan, and he is growing faster than I ever thought possible.  At 8 months, he is already wearing 12-18 month clothes, standing, jumping, grasping precisely at things, and chattering like a little man.  He likes to flex his muscles, tightening his fist and grunting, showing off for his mother.  He delights in his sisters, who like to entertain him.  He has piercing blue eyes...which we think might have come from the Schwann's man. lol  We believe they trace back to Grandpa Phil and Great-Grandpa Roy.  His wavy blonde hair, long limbs, and chiseled features are already that of a mini-Adonis. (ok, maybe a little bias here :)
Pete tried to come out a little early, sending me to the hospital with contractions as early as 26 weeks, but he decided to stay in there all the way until the end, arriving via scheduled c-section on February 5, 2008.
Grandpa and Grandma Rouse continue to watch Pete so he doesn't have to go to daycare until after he is one.  He is the highlight of their day, and I love knowing that he is getting so much love and attention while he is with them.  At home, he is forced to fend for himself--third child syndrome.  But we adore him so much...our special little boy.
